Your message stays on your device
Everything the sign does happens in your browser. The text you type, any background image you choose and the settings you pick are never uploaded, stored on a server or seen by us — there is no server behind the sign to send them to.
A share link carries your settings inside the address itself. Anyone you send that link to can read what is in it, so treat it the way you would treat the message on the sign.
What is stored in your browser
Signs you save under "Saved signs" are kept in your own browser storage on the device you saved them on. They are not synced anywhere and we cannot read them. Clearing your browser data removes them for good.
Your use of the Site
Use the Site at your own risk. You are responsible for the content you display and for where you display it. Do not use the Site for illegal purposes, to harass anyone, or to display a message where it could distract drivers or interfere with real signage, and do not attempt to integrate it into other applications.
Do not use the Site to imitate official signage — station boards, emergency notices, road signs or anything else a person could reasonably take as genuine.
Flashing and photosensitivity
The blink and strobe effects can flash quickly. Fast flashing can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Both are off by default, and you are responsible for how you use them, particularly in front of an audience.
